This morning we received this photo from a dear high school friend who saw a working Oliver tractor at an Independence Day parade yesterday in Leesburg, Virginia.
This Substack is of course, about our travels and adventures in our Oliver Travel Trailers Legacy Elite II Hull #961. But when I saw an Oliver Tractor a couple of days ago, I just had to feature it on Day 29.
I have to say, we are really enjoying our Legacy Elite II. This week we have only been using it as a place to sleep, shower, and to eat breakfast, but it’s been a wonderful place to come home to each night. And while it took me a few nights at the beginning of our adventure to get used to a different bed, I’m sleeping like a hibernating bear these days on my KTT latex mattress upgrade. (By the way, I’m not being paid to promote Oliver or by any other company to promote their products here. I’m simply trying to provide prospective Oliver owners information about our experience with this quality travel trailer. If that changes, I’ll be sure to let you know.)
If you haven’t done so already, please check out yesterday’s post where I’m asking you to vote on your favorite Oliver’s Travels photo from the first 30 days of this cross country adventure. The poll will close after it runs for a full week at which time I will announce the fan favorite.
Finally, a few pictures from today:
Finally, I’ll end with this terrific photo of son Bill who started his first day today at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California. Our wonderful daughter-in-law, who always has a great sense of humor, had to have a traditional first day of school picture:
If you stick with Oliver’s Travels, you’ll get to see us visiting with Bill, Sarah and our two grandchildren much later in this trip as we head west.
Until tomorrow…
