Oliver Floor Plan Option - Twin Beds
We're glad we selected this Oliver Legacy Elite II floor plan option
This post is for readers considering an Oliver Legacy Elite II with the twin bed floor plan.
The LE II is a 23’ 6” long tandem axle travel trailer with a double-hulled fiberglass shell and a dry weight of 4,900 pounds. It’s compact, four-season capability along with superior construction and luxury is what convinced us to select it as our first travel trailer along. That said, it is compact inside and space is at a premium.
We selected the twin bed option to give us what I measure to be about 18” of aisle space between the mattress when made up with bed linens and a comforter. (The aisle width from the floor to just below the mattress shelves is just under 29”.) The effective length of the aisle from the start of the twin beds to the rear end table between the beds is just shy of 52”
While we would prefer the Queen bed option for sleeping, we find ourselves thinking all the time about how glad we are that the bed isn’t in the way as we get dressed, organize things for travel, stay out of each others’ way while someone is cooking, etc. It also makes a great place for the dogs to sleep as long as you remember not to step on them!
If you are unsure about which floor plan is right for you, we can say without any reservation that we are glad to have selected the twin bed option.
