I’m guessing that most couples who spend significant time in a small trailer like an Oliver Legacy Elite II find themselves adopting routines. One of ours is that while I’m in the “reading room,” Frieda likes to make both of our beds so that 1) she has the room to move around and do it, and; 2) so they are done to her strict specifications. This is perfectly fine with me and we joke about the “bed elves” and the magic that happens when I’m in the bathroom. (Perhaps that latter part is too much information LOL!)
Skipper, our almost 10-year old Parson Russell terrier, is a bit of a teenager and loves to sleep in. So just as happens at home, Frieda will go ahead and make the bed then the joke becomes “Did you make the bed with Skipper in it?”
This is what it looks like when a bed is made with Skipper in it:
Skipper did finally wake up and that allowed us to hit the road.
We took a slight detour to Gonzales, Texas on our way out of Fredericksburg in order to help a very nice lady with a clogged gray tank.
Here’s Kleen Tank of the Tennessee Valley working on site in Gonzales, Texas:
If you need service, give us a call at 865-224-8400 and we’ll drive to you if we can!
The wildflowers are in full bloom here in Texas.
Have I mentioned Texas is growing like a weed? Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, and Houston. Pretty much everywhere we went EVERYTHING was under construction. Here’s downtown Houston:
And here’s what Waze was showing as I took the above photo:
Pretty much every vehicle here is a truck and nearly all of them look like this:
After a long day of Kleen Tank work and driving on rough highways, we arrived at the Gulf Coast RV Park and settled into Happy Hour.
Thank you for following Oliver’s Travels!
Fun need!
