Tex Trek '23 - Day 6
More Kleen Tank kleening and visiting with friends in Fredericksburg, Texas
Sunday, 26 March 2023
Frieda and I have been blessed with numerous Kleen Tank jobs this trip — far more than we expected. We do not do jobs on Sundays back at home so that we can fully devote our attention to the Lord and attending Two Rivers Church in Lenoir City, Tennessee. When traveling, we will make some exceptions if the only time folks have available is Sunday otherwise we would not be able to help them. So today we asked if the two fellow campers who asked us would mind if we did their cleaning on Sunday afternoon, which is what we did. This allowed us to watch the online service in the morning.
In between jobs, we said farewell to our deal friend Carolyn Grubb who had to catch a plane back to home.
It was then time to enjoy a last dinner together with our good friends we served with in Japan almost 30 years ago.
I should have taken a lot more pictures but I didn’t. Instead I enjoyed the time and fellowship and we all created some great memories.
Tomorrow morning we depart Fredericksburg and head to Beaumont by way of Gonzalez where we have a final Kleen Tank job this trip.
