Today was the final full day at the FMCA rally here in Goshen. Once again, the weather was pleasant with mild temps and a few clouds.
Frieda and I spent the majority of the day helping with the Kleen Tank booth along with Debbie Tome and daughter Niki Hamilton. Jim Tome did a second and final Kleen Tank seminar that was well-attended but unfortunately we only received one sign up for service. Jim and I suspect that gasoline prices are causing many folks to postpone a tank cleaning service that they would otherwise go ahead and have done since we are right here.
The best part of this rally has been the opportunity to bond as a Kleen Tank family. While I had met Jim and Debbie Tome several times during the due diligence process and my training sessions, this was the first time Frieda had had the pleasure to get to meet them. And for both of us, this was the first time meeting Niki Hamilton, Debbie’s daughter and one heck of a great hair stylist. I love Frieda’s new haircut!
For both of us, this was our first time meeting Kleen Tank Michigan dealers Wendy and Joe Bruce. They are super-nice folks with two fun dogs, Rocco and Luna. Rocco is an 15-year old elderly Chihuahua and Luna is a 1-year old Carolina Dog. Joe Bruce is retired Navy as well, and we salute his service.
Tomorrow I have at least one tank cleaning in the morning and then will likely relax. Most of the rally attendees will depart Goshen today but as mentioned in an earlier post, Frieda and I intend to stay here until Wednesday morning so we can check out Goshen a bit.
Wonderful family!! We love you!!!!!
