Today Frieda spent most of the day helping out with the Kleen Tank booth and Scott focused on two tank cleaning jobs. And for the second day in a row, the weather here in Goshen was very pleasant. No rain and mild temperatures.
One of the lessons Frieda and I have learned in almost a week of travel, with two nights in Cincinnati and now three nights in Goshen, is that traveling in an RV is the most fun when you limit the driving days. We therefore decided to forego a planned trip up through Michigan on our way to Amana, Iowa, and instead, stay here until next Wednesday, drive a few hours to Nature’s Way RV Park in North Utica, Illinois, spend four nights there, then arrive in Amana on the 19th. And with gasoline now in the mid-5’s a gallon, this will save us some money.
Tomorrow is the last full day of the FMCA Rally and Jim Tome and I hope to land a few more cleaning jobs.
