We awoke this morning to a magnificent sunrise here at Tres Rojas Winery in Washington, Illinois.
Normally Maddie and Skipper are up before us and are anxious to go out. I think we all slept great last night and Maddie uncharacteristically slept in.
It is of course harvest time and it’s been fun to see the farmers reaping the rewards of growing corn all summer.
For the third or fourth time this year we found ourselves back in Indiana…
And Ohio…
After a somewhat harrowing drive through Cincinnati with us both being pretty tired, I lost interest in any more pictures today.
We arrived safely at the Family Motor Coach Association Campground in Cincinnati in the late afternoon and settled in for the night. The last few days have been long and we are a bit worn out. Tomorrow we drive the final stretch to home and mark the end of West Quest Part Deux.
What a journey you’ve enjoyed! I’ll bet home home sounds like a dream today - almost there! Thanking God, our Father, for His good work in you. It’s been really fun to watch💙❤️
Wow! Can your journey really be coming to an end?!? No doubt it will feel great to be home! What a ride!! I am so happy to be able to be a part and come along to all of your destinations through your posts! Big hugs to you and Frieda! Safe travels on these last legs!
