Today was another driving day, this time from Litchfield, Illinois to Kellogg, Iowa where we are staying at the Kellogg RV Park for a few nights.
Our plan for this trip is to get as far north as Fargo, North Dakota as neither of us has ever been there. Along the way, we want to visit Sioux Falls, South Dakota as it seems like an interesting city. After Fargo, we will press westward to Washington state.
We spent quite a bit of time in Iowa during our Summer ‘22 Cross Country but did not get a chance to explore the Des Moines area including interesting places like Ames and Pella. And since they are on the way, to Sioux Falls, it made sense to stop here for a few days.
We arrived at the Kellogg RV Park mid-afternoon and then headed to nearby Ames to have dinner at Provisions Lot F, a restaurant recommended to us by a friend. The food was delicious and the staff attentive and pleasant. It was a wonderful way to end the evening.
