oh wow!! With family (and ties) in Greece I'd wondered about Albania over the years, the small obscure balkan country right next door, yet suffering from totalitarian dictatorship from 1945 until recently

Being here it's quite remarkable to think it was an isolated, communist nation just over three decades ago. One is reminded constantly that humans yearn to be free and Albanians have fully embraced the opportunity to live their lives as free people. It's wonderful to see. We very much look forward to future visits to this lovely little country.
