Here’s how Ollie looked this morning just before we got ready to depart Austonia RV Resort in De Valle, Texas:
And here’s how Frieda and I looked since we were on our way to a Kleen Tank job:
The Texas State Flower — the Bluebonnet — is in full bloom all along the highways right now. These pictures hardly do justice for what we’ve seen but they give you an idea:
What we expected to be a nasty and difficult Kleen Tank job turned out far better than expected, especially for me, since Frieda now does about 90% of the work LOL!
Smiling happy faces of having just cleaned poo and having made customer Quinten Pigg happy.
After that experience, it was time for an IN-N-OUT burger where our cashier Jonathan could not have been more friendly.
I like my Double Double with grilled onions. Yum!
We were then off to The Vineyards of Fredericksburg RV Park where we’ll spend the next four nights visiting with old Navy friends.
There was apparently an interesting alignment of the moon and a couple of planets last night. Here’s the moon and Venus (I think):
Thank you for reading Oliver’s Travels!
Who are you visiting? Anyone we may know from our Indy days? Have a great
time in the Lone Star State ⭐️
