Great question, Casey. Waterdrop claims the carbon block water filter provides up to 6 months or 550 gallons of filtration. The G3 activated carbon filter provides up to 12 months or 1,100 gallons of clean filtration. Finally, the reverse osmosis (RO) filter is good for 24 months or 2,200 gallons. So far, I have only had to replace a carbon block and the system did indeed tell me it was time via a blue light that turned yellow and then red. My understanding is that it's "smart" and keeps track of time or gallons, whichever comes first. Pricing and information can be found under "replacement filters" at https://www.waterdropfilter.com/. In my opinion, it's well worth it! I love the G3 system.
Hey Scott, for your in-home Waterdrop system, how much is spent on filters and roughly how often do they need to get changed? Thanks!
