Ahhh man!!! Scott and I were just talking about you and Freida and actually hoping we’d see you again this year at The Dam Ranch in Tehachapi. Thanks for explaining all of the moving parts. We completely get it! Hoping we can play into any plans that may bring you West ( say a layover for a few days en route to Hawaii?!?) What a great experience you’ve had these last two years ! We’re glad to have traveled with you via your travel blog and in person stop. Be well! See you again soon (fingers crossed 🤞👌)
We're still planning on visiting you and Scott, Marie! We will just plan to do it by car or truck. Lots of things went into our decision and for now, we just think it's best to be sans RV.
Thank you, Mary. Like I said, I think I'll go ahead and keep up the posts when we travel via planes, trains and automobiles and gauge the reaction. Appreciate you following our travels here.
Appreciate your kind words, Jim. I hope one day when you get to take off that uniform that you find time to do some fun travel yourself. And yes, there is almost certainly another travel trailer in our future when the time is right again.
Enjoyed following your travels with Ollie. Totally understand the decision to say goodbye; we had to do the same with our camper :(. Cheers to your upcoming adventures sans Ollie!
Loved traveling through you. Thankfully, there are sites that broker “borrowing” an RV. I looked into them but was so overwhelmed with how to find a campsite, dispose of bilge and get fresh water, I gave up. You already have those skills! Maybe one of the apps that connect you with actual RV owners where you can build a relationship might work? It’s never all or nothing...
I just found you!

OK, so the campground at Redstone is out now for a visit. But we do have guest rooms…..
Sorry to see Ollie go, but we get the logic.
We were in Williamsburg in early Oct, and then again for Veterans Day. It’s one of our favorite places.
I will miss your travel blog, but look forward to hearing of the new adventures you will be embarking on.
