The high heat and humidity are in full force here in Utica, Illinois. Fortunately, the forecast has things cooling down a bit in the next couple of days.

Dave and Linda Waszak, the owners of Nature’s Way RV Park are very kind. As a courtesy to them, I started off the morning by doing a complimentary tank cleaning on their 1998 Jayco travel trailer that now serves as temporary lodging for family and friends.

Our plans are to stay here three more nights before heading west to Amana, Iowa for a Good Sam rally where I hope to get a few Kleen Tank jobs.

This park features numerous mature oak trees that we believe to be Swamp White Oaks. Their craggily limbs give them a lot of character and we have enjoyed admiring their beauty.
