Well, after more than 24,000 miles and at least 32 states, Hull 961 has rattled the frame around our rear window — the one that holds the blackout and semi-transparent shade mechanism — to failure.
To my knowledge, this is the first time we’ve had a structural feature of the Oliver fail. It’s frankly pretty annoying but I suppose not unexpected given an RV going down the road is like a house being subjected to an earthquake.
Fortunately, we were smart enough to carry both black and white Gorilla Tape on board and today I used some tape to hold the frame to the bulkhead until we can get it in for service in mid-September.
So for current and prospective Oliver Travel Trailers owners, we recommend carrying some of this tape with you rig.
