Keeping Georgia and Florida Kleen - Day 1
Home in Harriman, Tennessee to Newnan, Georgia

I was not planning to do any posts for this Kleen Tank 11-day working trip to Florida but wonderful events demand that it be documented as you will see in the next few posts.
About a month ago, a fellow Kleen Tank dealer who knew we were headed to Florida for a Grand Design rally passed along a job to in Newnan, Georgia — hometown of country music star Alan Jackson. When I called the customer, Glenn McWaters, he explained that he and his son live full-time in the trailer on his 50 acre property. He insisted that we spend the night and asked if I fished (he has a fully stocked pond) and/or golf (he has his own five-hole golf course). I declined on both explaining we would likely be tired after driving and cleaning his tanks, but that we would love to spend the night.
Glenn and son Walter greeted us at the gate of their Soggy Bottom farm and the warm welcome was worthy of friends who have known each other for a lifetime. As it turns out, Glenn, Frieda and I are all within a few months of each other in age.
Glenn immediately gave us a tour of the place in his golf cart while Walter followed us in their restored WWII jeep just like the one I recently saw recently on Tex Trek '23 - Day 5.

After a quick tour, we got to work. It was a dirty job, but Glenn and Walter’s trailer Kleened up nicely.
After the job was done, we parked our Ollie on Glenn’s five-hole golf course and settled in for the evening.
We had plenty of privacy and the temps were cool so we slept with the windows open.
