Today was our first full day in St. Augustine. Here’s a look at our campsite:
Just before lunch, Frieda and I headed to the historic downtown section of the city to grab some lunch and to do a bit of window shopping.
One of the first things we saw downtown was this interesting wall made of oyster shells and mortar.
Later in the afternoon, we met up with Brian, McKalie and Mason so that we could take Mason for the evening while mom and dad were at the rehearsal dinner.
We’re not sure who was happier to have Mason visit with us in our Ollie: Mason himself, me and Frieda, or Skipper!
I have absolutely no idea why Mason and I have our tongues out in the next photo!
Overall, an amazing evening with our wonderful grandson!
Tomorrow is supposed to rain, rain, rain. Fingers crossed that by the time the wedding starts at 5:00 pm things clear up.
I am enjoying seeing your great pictures and reading your posts. My sister and I are headed to the Pensacola area Friday. The last time I was there I visited you guys. You had Bill and you were just getting started on your career. My stay in Pensacola will be short. My cousins wife passed away. We are attending her memorial service.
